What resolution are you playing on?  If you have a big 720-1080 HD screen with HDMI you might get some lag.   My computer couldn't handle bf3 with a 1080 27 inch screen, switched to a regular lcd 22 inch with lower res and it runs smoothly now along with other games.

i like maple story use to always play it, 

idk how to change resolution won't let me get to that point i have a big 720-1080 HD screen no hdmi cables but it laggs so much even on start up it's a 20" so not big but laggs like fk but can play rs3 hd full screen sweet as ect no lagg.....

Change your screen resolution via control panel and see if that helps.  Not sure why it's lagging to be honest mate.

 

Update your drivers, maybe clear your cache/temp net files since Maple Story runs via browser right?  I've never played so I'm not sure.

update drivers, cleared cache/temp files, it's a downloaded game.

Clean out your actual rig, it might be full of dust and shit that's not making it run like it should. That's what's happened to me a lot of times with an old desktop. Cleaning it out made it run almost like a brand new computer.

Maplestory aside more ram would never hurt your rig.
