Proselyte/Adamant Pures?

I thought I pretty much had all forms of pures figured out.

I was in Clan Was FFA, and was getting destroyed by someone in what looked like initiate and barrows gloves.

He was too high level to be thought of as a pure, not to mention the gloves.

He was too low combat to be specing what he was though.

So I thought I'd Enter-S-D-1 him.

He replied with a QC "My Defence Level is 35.", along with a 99 strength and range QC brag.

I kinda :O'd and asked him about it.

He replied that was was 1 def at one time, then 20, then 25.

He also said that everywhere he went it was crawling with 20 def pures, and he wanted something new.

He started questing for finishing RFD. He said he roughly finished out with 32 def, so he just got 35.

I had never heard of a B glove pure before.

Then I started thinking about it, and the idea sounds good.

Proselyte Armor, Adamant Equipment, Snakeskin. Not bad equipment.

Now Barrows Gloves? Sounds good to me.

Although no new mage equipent is available ar 30 def. (Besides 3rd Age Mage)

Of course the downsides, You're now considered a 'def noob'.

Big cb boost, and the worst, most clans don't allow 25+ defence. (Most importantly FOE)

I've seen many more 30 defence pures now, and even a few pk vids.

They aren't quite rune pures, and still low defence.

Just not low enough to be considered a pure.

they are agile pures, at 35 defence i think and 85 agility you can wear agile armor from completing high level agility courses.  it gives decent bonuses for everything, you you can hybrid with agile armor.

30 def is always tempting when ur 25 def (like me), but then i think about how if i got 30 id want barrows gloves so id get 35...and then id might as well get 40 def then 45 def lol

Meh anything above 20-25 in my opinion isn't really a pure. Just a pure who screwed up and wants to stay somewhat pure without completely going main. Another thing is the chain reaction, after 35 def you'll want 45 then 70 and then 99.

prossy pure is only type of acc i have no have, and i never plan to own one.

Because...i don't see the point in like 35 Def when you can just get 40 for rune, torso, veng, ect.

1-13 def = mith addy gloves

14-31 = rune gloves

32-45 = barrow gloves

i would say, either stay 1defence or get 32 with barrow gloves.

cuz rune gloves aint fucking worth the defence were barrow gloves give +5 more then addy gloves.
