Avenge Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Depends what your killing/what are you getting out of the kill
i tauntz i Posted January 30, 2014 Author Posted January 30, 2014 (edited) deer/duck/geese/pheasants/pigeon/rabbits able to eat all of these killed for sport/some vermin and then foxes/grey squirrels/rats killed because they are vermin/cause problems most hunting would be done for vermin control but also sport/fun and a lot of what you kill you will eat/sell Edited January 30, 2014 by i tauntz i

vult Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 deers are killed to control their population rats sure foxes shouldnt be killed what about when they are killing livestock spreading tb? when theyre actually causing a problem then i guess half of the time though the hunters are just killing any foxes they see
Prep Unit Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 i think if their killing to eat then its fine. i think for sport and fun is wrong because its a waste to kill them unless its for a problem such as rats
DeltaPapa Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 As long as they are killed correctly. There was a story in papers other day where the fox got shot about 6 times and wouldnt die. Personally i don't understand how fox hunting can be fun. Just running after a dog to do the work. Bird hunting or rabbit could be fun as its just you and a gun. Whale hunting etc should be banned
Skidddz Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 dont agree with killing things for sport, if its a population cull/disease outbreak etc then load up the shotty and aim straight

Whale hunting etc should be banned i heard about that story they used terriers then they dug them out and shot them right? personally i wouldn't do this since i feel it puts the animal through unesercerry suffering however its all legal also most fox hunting is done during the night and can take some skill to lure the foxes out and they use rifles not dogs
Chase Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 its no different from a slaughter house,if your following the rules and not torturing the animals.
3at Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Anything to survive, right?this is a good debatable topic imo

Fool Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Hunting for hunting's sake is a poor choice of a hobby. But hunting when done out of necessity is fine.
