Jagex jukes once again

5-8 months people will switch to eoc to level and start building up their rs3 accounts to get ready for the update, meaning 07 will loose players. This is all for revenue whoever tells me differently.. its rubbish,

Reasons it will increase revenue:

1. Community will be less divided, more people will keep subscribing because of rs3 more frequent updates (more fancy)

2. OSRS worlds will be cut and with players being less, the OSRS team will be cut meaning saving money or moving them to the RS3.

3. Seems like osrs was just a big ponzi scheme to keep income coming in while they figure out how to get people back to rs3 without loosing money.

they made 07 because people hated eoc and they lost a lot of money so yes no shit the made a game in which they knew people wanted and therefore would make them money and do they want people to play rs3? yes because that's their main game and thats what they have spent most money on so no shit they want people to play that over anything else as that is a good 70% of their business right now 

 

will it work l0l no, why not? because people don't want to start another fucking account and people don't like the new retarded abilities/weapons/items will a few go back yes sure lots of people will try it out it won't have anywhere near the rate of 07 players when that was launched because they already used all the momentum and hype to release 07 and honestly its already dying out in the long run it will just cause more people to quit you may have a higher rate of players for rs3 but an overall lower rate of players but honestly if rs3 kills off 07 while slightly increasing overall players jagex might be making more money overall from not paying for as many servers/staff so i guess from that point of view yes maybe it will work out for them however in the long run they are just killing the game

Here is some valid information for you , old school wont die , players wont be lost except a possible 1 in every 10 players the ability bars are still there , and you do know that eventually we will reach PRE-EOC status on old school right? things are only just beginning we are only 1/2 way there man , if people are worried 07 is gonna loose players then they will stay , its as simple as that

I don't see why people would want to train skills in a game where achievements are meaningless.

 

Rs3 is laggy as fuck, interfaces are retarded, rs3 mods include Mod Mark and microtransactions are in the game.

 

Only reason I can see people wanting to play the legacy mode is to hybrid (if it works) or rush with korasi and dclaws lol.
