Hotkey help

[Low Bridd]

So I just bought a new laptop that uses Windows 8.

 

Fast forward I can't use Hotkeys because when I press them the option on the Key comes up instead of doing something in the game.

 

Example : Press F1 for invy switch pulls up Windows Help and Support.

 

Does anyone know how to turn that off or make it to where I have to press FN+F(x) to access that option?

 

It's an HP Envy if that helps any.

Could always try googling it, am sure its in the setting somewhere.. Also had this problem on my mac but got it changed in settings.. Cause right now you're most likely to use FN+F-Key for hotkeys

Solved it.

 

To turn on FN+F(x) keys I had to go to BIOS settings and disable action keys. Way too complicated to get to BIOS, but nevertheless it worked. 

 

If anyone else has this problem and needs the fix this video helped me
