New Clue & Wildy Rewards! (Dope pure items)

Hi guys

 

Later on this week we'll have a dev blog up offering some new clue scroll and wilderness rewards. Before then I'd like to open a discussion about the planned items and look forward to reading your feedback.

 

Wilderness Bosses

 

Callisto, Vet'ion & Venenatis have needed an additonal unique drop for a while so we've chosen a few suggestions from the forums.

 

Ring of the Gods

 

Dropped by Vet'ion

+4 Prayer bonus

Imbued at NMZ to +8.

Aligned to all the Gods for areas like Godwars.

 

 

Heavy Ring

 

Dropped by Callisto.

Probably needs a better name!

+4 Crush bonus

Imbued at NMZ to +8.

 

 

Sharp Ring

 

Dropped by Venenatis.

Probably needs a better name!

+4 Stab bonus

Imbued at NMZ to +8.

 

 

We'd also like to offer the ability to combine the Sharp, Heavy & Warrior rings to create a Ring of Accuracy with +4 slash, stab & crush bonus. You'll need all 3 rings to be imbued individually to create an imbued Ring of Accuracy. 

 

New Clue Rewards

 

With the clue scroll expansion just around the corner we'd like to offer some additional rewards that will become best in slot at certain levels, so these will be polled individually.

 

Rangers' tunic

 

 

A third part to the robin set and will be modeled to fit.

Requires 40 Ranged.

Reward from Elite trails.

Offers the following stats, offensively matching the green dragonhide body and defensively consistent with robin gear.

 

 

 

Holy sandals

 

+3 Prayer bonus.

Requiring 31 Prayer.

Reward from medium trails.

 

 

New God books

 

I wanted to make sure that if we added the 3 new God books they are all worth using but don't devalue the Unholy book and I've come up with the following stats.

 

Book of Grace (Armadyl): +10 Range attack & +5 Prayer.

Book of Power (Bandos): +2 Strength & +5 Prayer.

Book of Darkness (Ancient): +10 Magic & +5 Prayer.

 

While these all become best in slot, the Unholy book would remain the number one choice for anyone using multiple combat styles. If voted in the pages will become available from all levels of clue scroll and you'll need to complete any existing books you have before being able to select another.

 

We're aiming to deliver the clue scroll expansion next week and these items won't appear on a poll until next Wednesday and so will be added as rewards in the following weeks should they pass.
