So_easy99 Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 (edited) Legacy might be shit, I agree. It looks like shit RIGHT NOW, but it isnt out yet. It is a way out. The game is stuck without any kind of future evolution. Player base wont grow like this. If jagex wants to have 200k online players again they have to make changes. Creating OSRS was a good change, creating legacy might be the new good step, if done right. Im not saying legacy will be fucking awesome, im just giving it a try They f*cked it up too many times. Yup, I agree. It was bad update followed by bad update. I wasnt here after 2010 so I don't really know the last updates before EOC but I think that the only positive thing was the creation of OSRS so far in the last few years by jagex. And I obviously love osrs more than rs3 guys, but understand this: they want to mix the games so the community plays all in the same servers. They want to create something that can potentially be enjoyable for both sides. I also think that if they really want to create legacy, why not just create an option to change for OSRS graphics and some gameplay inside this same servers? How hard would it be to create something like this I wonder.. I remember that even after their first good graphic updates we could just use the oldschool layout and whatnot. I believe that they will give us the opportunity to choose if we want to move our banks or not. Maybe they even give us the option to freely move banks between servers whenever we want to. Wouldnt that be great?

Tbh oldschool is getting pretty close to pre-eoc lol, and eventually will most likely turn into "oldschool eoc" lol with the rate of updates anyway. The updates arent even close to be pre-eoc related, there have been good updates every single time. Jagex only updates stuff that players agreed with, so this player base commands the future of the OSRS, thats all.
