Jonny Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 (edited) I do not know how popular this is outside of Germany / Europe. It is a mix out of strength training and cardio. The idea behind this it that you can exercise pretty much anywhere and you only use your own body weight. They have an app with a few workouts for free. The app including all workouts costs money. www.freeletics.com if you want to check this out. The nice thing is that you can do this in your garden or anywhere else. It takes you 10-45 minutes a day, so you should be able to find time for this. After a freeletic workout I feel a lot better than anytime I went to the gym. What I also like is that your body looks way more natural than it does from typical gym workouts. Share your opinions and thoughts. Maybe some of you even do freeletics :) (None productive posts or spam will be deleted) EDIT: For all you big guys that go to the gym regulary: There are enough workouts that make well trained people struggle. You can always improve the time you complete the workout in. Edited June 11, 2014 by Lch Jonny
Ikz Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Exercises where you use your own weight such as pushups or tricep dips are some of the best workouts you can do. I think you'd be hardpressed to develop a defined back when only doing hyperextensions, but you can definitely achieve a semi decent chest or triceps without ever needing to use a dumbbell or barbel, it would just take quite a while (after 105 days his chest really hasn't improved that much)
Jonny Posted June 11, 2014 Author Posted June 11, 2014 Isn't this what middleaged women do? lol. I wanna see a picture of you to show others why not only middleages women do this =)
Dog Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 I hate when people make these transformation videos that act like it's some amazing feat just because they did it using calisthenics lol, you can make decent progress with any type of routine or exercises if you're using progressive overload and eating enough so its really not that big a deal, think I'll stick to actually lifting

So_easy99 Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 (edited) it all honesty, everything ends up in consistency. Whatever you do, if you have consistency you can change your body. And after that if you wanna build ur body in a better way, then you can change meals and etc. Beginners in the gym usually try to change everything at once and they end up being not interested after a few days/weeks. So just have this in mind: First thing u gotta have is consistency. And ye, street workouts been known for a while Edited June 13, 2014 by So_easy99
Jonny Posted June 13, 2014 Author Posted June 13, 2014 Ye you just need to find the type of workout / sport which fits you best. There is no right or wrong really
