What is everyone up to?

Saw this topic on MM boards, the responses were very mixed and interesting, wanted to see what it's like over on the foe side. In MM due to the nature of off topic boards being full of old school/retired people it made a good read.

 

 

I'll start:

 

Just finished second year of uni at Birmingham in Economics and Politics. Taking a year out of that to do a year in computer science. Working in poker around 50-80 hours a week, and apart from that started trying to eat more/lift things to gain average weight.

Just finished first year of University studying Policing and Criminal Investigation. Going on holiday in a week to Greece, Kos. Also looking for a summer job however its not exactly going well. Probably just going to grind 5nl ($0.02/0.05) (maybe 10nl) poker in hopes of getting some sort of income for the rest of the summer!

 

Going to apply for the RAF during my second year with hopes to become a pilot. If I'm unsuccessful I will go into the police force as a fallback option.

 

edit: just got offered at job, so will be doing that until mid-september

Graduated from highschool couple weeks ago and currently looking for a summer job. All of the good places are pretty filled up so idk what im going to do. I will be attending Cal Poly Slo next year and I leave in the beginning of september.

Currently doing an apprenticeship in IT Tech Support. Working on a 1st Line support help desk in central London for a big private healthcare company. Lifting on the regular and trying my best to cut the fat and make gains. Spend a lot of money on weed.

Finished school last july, started a job doing architecture in October 2013, left the job at the end of may to go on a holiday to Thailand and enjoy my summer freely, going to University in September to study American Studies. Hoping to really enjoy the course, the path I can take with it (study wise) looks like I'm going to really enjoy education, rather than actually going to University to form a career.

 

Considering a few options past that, looking at Primary School teaching (decent starting salary, fulfilling and entertaining job. Always got on really well with kids, and feel like it'd be something I'd love to do.  Been investigating how easy it'd be to do a 2 year course post graduation from a UK University qualifying as a teacher in Canada, love to travel and Canada looks like an amazing place to learn.

 

RIGHT NOW 

 

Bumming about quite frankly, luckily have a pool in my back garden so I've been doing an hour of swimming a day, trying to do at least 3 hours running a week and have been doing some weight exercise (nothing heavy as I have pins in my wrist) just toning and keeping healthy.

 

Tried to quit smoking... Went from smoking 5-10 a day and 20-30 on a night out to 10 on a night out and an e-cig during the weeks. Saving money and slowly whittling it down to nothing.

Finished first year of uni in computing, went well. Now over summer going away in 2 weeks then planning on creating a bunch of websites for second year for different layouts then hopefully starting to sell them to companies.

Finished a bachelor in Built environment and Architecture last year, this year I did a pre-master in Spatial Planning and in September I'll be starting on my master degree of Socio-spatial Planning. http://www.rug.nl/masters/socio-spatial-planning/#int

I am currently finishing my degree in INC and Telecommunication Design. I work on an Oil Rig in Northern Canada and once I complete that I plan on completing my degree in Civil Engineering and then hopefully look for a job in Aus/Saudi.

 

Just came back from EDC Vegas and I plan on the same trip next year or maybe Tomorrowland.

Just finished my second year at the university of Nottingham, studying History. Got a few bits of work experience lined up this Summer but will be going back to finish my degree next year.

 

Intend to take a year off after that backpacking around with a few friends; been stuck in the education system for 18 odd years now, so need a break, haha.

Going back to school for a third time to take the Police course, already did the Protection and Security one 2 years ago.

 

Actually I just want to move away and have an excuse to drink with people again. But the Police job is the added bonus.

i have two jobs while im out of school for the summer

my beach trip for a week just got canceled so that kinda sucks

 

i lost 35 lbs and gonna try a keto diet, just need to loose 30~ more lbs till im 20% bf which would be really nice

 

im working at the ymca and a subway so 60+ hours a week barely anytime for runescape so i bot alot lol

just got a two day tho so im gonna have to do legit from now on, atleast i got 76 agility and 99 fish before it :D

 

dont think there's anything else i forgot to mention except america sucks at soccer rip team usa

Graduated school few weeks back with a B.S. in Business Administration (Management & Finance), Psychology minor. I'm currently giving some 1,000 corporate slaves new machines with windows 7/compatible programs, pretty extensive project, good pay. Going to start applying for jobs (this place is where I interned, I'm a temp now), and interviewing got a few things lined up just need to decide what's best for me, and figure out if and when I want to attend grad school. Doing a lot of music festivals and traveling this summer trying to not lose my mind. Turned 21 over Thanksgiving and I have 6 internships under my belt so I'm looking to relax and find something meaningful.

Waiting for college to start in August. I'll be doing an acting course there to start things off because my dream job is to be a voice actor. 

Until them I'm living with my parents and playing League, no summer job, Took a gap year to work but quit in January because I had enough saved up and wanted the rest of the time to relax and be lazy before I have to start working hard in college.

Really excited to start college and be around people my age again, meet girls, party, hit the gym, pursue my dream etc etc etc.
