Walli Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Hi all, I know we don't often get this here but I have known a lot of people who browse these forums for a number of years and have made some significant friendships over those years. last year my best friend's dad was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, this is a cancer which effects your blood and bone marrow, As of yet there is no cure for this type of cancer. What I have found remarkable is that every time i see my friend and his dad they are never down or beaten by this. They remain upbeat and positive. A large reason why my friend's dad, John, can handle all what is going on is due to the incredible treatment he is and continues to receive from Rosemere Cancer Foundation. They have truly been phenomenal. It is for this reason Craig, myself and many more have decided to give something back to this great cause. Using the power of social media and through our many friends, work colleagues and other associates we will be posting the pictures and videos of us losing our precious hair. For some this is nothing, for people with a melon noggin like me this isnt cool at all. I mean this is not all about just losing our hair. People with cancer lose their hair as a result of treatment all the time and this is our way of signifying our support and a way for us to do something which is sponsor-able and hopefully raise a lot of money. Even if you do not have the money to donate, which i appreciate many might not with how old some people are or lack of jobs etc. Sharing this webpage and this message means a lot to me and I know it does to my friend. https://www.justgiving.com/Craig-Wiseman1/ - please visit just to look if nothing else, if you donate then thank you so much. You can also You can Donate £1,2,3,4,5,10 Via Text every bit is appreciatedText WIZZ54 £(amount) to 70070 again, many thanks guys.
