In my class, us boys have been discussing this issue with the girls for a long time, often developing into fierce arguements over it. I personally only like beard if it's grown and done properly, I hate people who have just gotten facial hair, are proud of their 5 straws on the upper lip and refuses to shave it. They seriously look like a downie with a helmet lol.

Serious'd though, beard, no stash, it's ALWAYS gay imo. Along the cheeks or on the chin, yes, but under no circumstances a stash, unless it's connected like Hogan's.

Some people can pull it off. Everybodies facial hair grows differently. Certain races grow facial hair, IMO, very weirdly. Like what you said, in straws. Some grow just moustaches. I personally dont like the "just moustache" look. In general it looks retarded. Maybe on older people it seems easier on the eyes.

Beard/goatee looks fine by me, but not if you grow it out. More like dark stubble. Neat, and nice. And the girls dig it.

I could not pull it off at all but I know one guy who can in my class. Anyways, I would shave because the girls I go out with don't really like having guys with lots of facial hair. :)
