Revival of Edge and Varr lvl1 Pking Possible with Remove of Pvp Worlds.

Title says it all.

 

Thats what has been going through my mind the past couple days when I was checking out the pvp worlds.

 

I believe it is possible for various and many reasons! If you care to know, dont hesitate to come have a chat with me!

 

Thoughts, opinions, discuss away (but Im sure it has been brought up before? if so, please fill me in on what happened).

Varrock level 1 will remain death, no doubt. Not enough players. But if they'd remove PvP worlds, Edgeville will be buzier again, of course.

You have to look at it from the big picture.

I know that many think the idea of having one or two worlds dedicated to the 'pking' 'pker' community is an awesome idea but when you take a closer look at it. its actually not practical at all. Why? Because of the RS world being wayy too huge already.

So say you have 250-500 scattered players in a single world (mind you, it takes like 20mins to get from east to west in the RS world if you are to just run with no teleports, etc) and then you have 10-20 players in varr, 10-20 at edge, 10-20 at fally, 10-20 at lumb, you get the idea. 

When you look at it this way, youd know that each area will be seem dead because the 250-500 players are scattered all over the RS world instead of to one specific place AKA Edge or Varr lvl1

Furthermore, as we all know the main player base is in world 301 and 330. If there were no pvp dedicated worlds and just back to regular edge pking / varr lvl1, pkers would naturally gather at populated worlds and the overflow to the next populated worlds. (at least thats what I would do)

This would also be beneificial to the economy because you have another place to buy/sell (edge bank, perhaps bringing back falador marketplace once again too :p)

 

All in all, with edge pking and varr lvl1s revival, one thing would help the other and they all go hand-in-hand in having a better 07Rs for all players alike!

 

Pvp worlds must be removed if they make a poll about this I urge you all to vote yes to removal of pvp worlds, it may mean the end of splashing for magic training but hey, some things are worth the sacrifice for (you can train magic easy enough already :))

I personally prefer edge pking but am aware that many many people love PvP worlds and wouldn't want them to go. I think it would be quite one-sided to remove PvP world's and even if it came to a poll the chances of it reaching the 75% is highly unlikely

all im sayin is.. the current status of the 07rs player base is not enough for pvp worlds because the rs world itself is too huge already and thus with the so limited amount of players we would be spreading ourselves even more thin (does that make sense?) so its a better option to possibly stick to just edge pking and naturally if you are a pker you would obviously go to a populated world and check the edge wildy out --->> w301 and w330

Possible, but unlikely to happen. A lot of the people like the combat level range so they aren't fighting the same people over and over in edge. As to lvl 1 varrock, that will never be active again. I recall it was super active at the start of the "free" f2p trial but died off.
