Whats the difference?

I hope you do not delete this topic, just because I am not a member of your clan 

 

well, to be honest I was a really big fan of you (especially of the old legends as I pk mods I, bonesaw pk and I contr0lz I ... these guys are still playing?) and I have tried to train a pure, so that you might someday accept me as your Member, but then everything just went wrong so I stopped four years ago to play RS because I thought RS would no longer be the old I once knew 

 

then suddenly (about 1 week already) I saw that "Legacy" Update and thought rs so could be the same again 

but then i heard about oldschool rs

now I'm totally confused and now I want your opinion 

Is it still the old Rs that I used to know (about 2010)? 

And is old school rs the only one that you are still playing? 

 

I do not want to waste my time just to see the RS but not like earlier. 

 

I would be very grateful if any of you would tell me the difference between now and 2009-2010

and what exactly Old School rs is

Oldschool RS is based on 2007.

The majority of us (99,99%) play the Oldschool version of Rs, which is based on 2007 but with some new updates now and then.

Legacy mode is a kind of mode (failure imo), which allows you to play with the old combat system in the current RS3. ( So a mixture of RS3 and the old combat style). I don't think that many people here play that mode.

Just play whichever you like. But I would personally choose for the oldschool version.

you have to start over either using an old account that is reset to all 1, or by making a completely new login

Yea thats the shitty part you will have to start over on 07 but you can play with your old account on legacy

legacy is eoc without the abilities. AKA shit game. OSRS is where its at and like everyone else said. You can use your rs3 acc but you have to start over on OSRS (07).

god... that would take years to get new pure,,, i dont have that much free time as i once had :/

 

i almost had the lvls that i needed to send an application to you :/

i still have the chins in my bank to get range 99 and to boost my hp :(

after that i wanted to ask you if i could join ur clan..
