Almost Dutch Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 There's always a lot of discussion on what it really is, If you bring range, mage, and melee is that still hybrid? Some say trib is only with void, some say hyb is mage and melee only Im so confused I might have to pk multi with a familiar to invent a quadbrid >.> A friend of mine had asked for a hybrid dm with mystic and rune on my main so we did but I brought range and he nerd raged saying wtf tribrid.. And anytime someone will say: "all hybs to easts" or anything I go and normally, mage mage range and then move in with melee and all these people say gtfo tribrid Which is it!? Discuss na0w
HADUKEN Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 tri means 3 way. So I say its hybrid intill you use all mage, range and melee.
Almost Dutch Posted November 12, 2009 Author Posted November 12, 2009 I can't really do just mage and melee unless I stand right next to them otherwise they just mage the entire time you put melee on
Matt Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 u mage u range then u got a melee/gs spec wep, but hyb dms for pures is all, for mains is like ahrims-bandos or mystic-rune depends really
Almost Dutch Posted November 12, 2009 Author Posted November 12, 2009 u mage u range then u got a melee/gs spec wep, but hyb dms for pures is all, for mains is like ahrims-bandos or mystic-rune depends really Well if I hybed on my pure all id do is switch weapons and booster prays... on main itd be tribrid to do same thing my pure does except weapons and armour? Dosent make sense.. #1 tribrid for me then
Posh Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I class Melee, Range and Mage as Hybrid even though it's more than 2. But yeah Melee, Range and Mage is Tribrid really. And sorry to say Quadbrid already be invented. :p
Zennithh Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 The real word is hybrid, which means a combo of more than one element (used for genetics in the real world im pretty sure). Im not really big on this tribrid and quadbrid terminology, its just a newfag rsfag thing by the sounds of it. People who discriminate about class builds and pking tactics (outside of honor) are just douches imo.. To me I am still a hybrid.
Chill The Fuck Out Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 more than one style of combat is hybridding, some people say tri-brid for 3 combat styles but it's not really a big deal. As for hybrid dms. Usually you agree on the rules of the dm before you fight, ie mage + melee in mystic/rune.
sdsdsd Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Tribrid was just somthing made up from failed hybrids IMO
Ethan|Unicornz Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 imo hybrid = more than one attack style. tribrid = specifically referring to 3
Going Pking3 Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 I just say hybrid, if you use more then one type of combat skill.. Tribrid is something made up..
Tom (Rendition) Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 Calling it tribriding is just a bit pretentious imo.
Almost Dutch Posted November 14, 2009 Author Posted November 14, 2009 idk dude, im too 09 for you. heres my card :p
Snow Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 I still call it a hybrid if you're using all the kinds of combat, calling it Tri-briding is just... more detailed?
Smited B O W Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 hybrid, ur only tribriding imo when ur using 3 void sets
Mucca|Blackops Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 just consider hybrid anyone whos got some sort of mage on them
Jacob|3 Q S Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 I class Melee, Range and Mage as Hybrid even though it's more than 2. But yeah Melee, Range and Mage is Tribrid really. And sorry to say Quadbrid already be invented. :p ^^^^^^^^^^
TickTock Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Technically tribridding is melee/mage/range, but it's still considered hybrid. Anyway, range/mage is only for 50's who burst and use rune arrows.
