Meet girl.

Seems nice.

She's been hooking up with my friend.

We talk, she tells me she doesn't like hooking up, and is a relationship type person.

"Me too."

We talk the rest of the night and hang out. Cool person, I go to bed thinking nothing of it, I met a new friend.

Next day, get text, she wants to talk.

She likes me but wants to see things through with my friend.

Ok, no problem.

We hang out the rest of the day and the next day.

Fuck I'm really starting to like her.

Friend notices and asks if I do.

Say yes. 

He's cool with it though since he only wants to hook up.

 

Few days pass, shit gets stressful for everyone because everyone's aware of the whole situation. I get a text from her again saying that she wants to talk.

She says she doesn't wanna be involved with either of us as more than friends and wants to do her own thing.

Kinda gutted, kinda glad I didn't get the shit end of the stick.

Still like her though. 

So what do I do from here?

And yes, I know the right answer is to see other people, and I plan on doing that and seeing if there are any other girls who would be cool with whatever, I'm open for anything atm be it casual sex or something on the serious side.

But should I drop her completely and just accept that we should stay friends? Because I'm pretty sure she can't just drop her feelings for me or the other guy just like that, that'd be pretty crazy imo. 

Should I be active with her and keep doing what I'm doing being flirty, eventually make another move?

 

idk I'm kinda confused right now. Honestly like this girl and don't wanna give it up just yet and see if I can work my way in there and see if we can make something work.
