Tablet as second monitor?

Hi all,

Has anybody ever tried setting up their tablet to work as a second monitor? Meaning extended display, not mirrored. Personally I am attempting it with an iPad Mini. Will post results & progress. I demand gains while laying in bed! Any help/interest is cool.

I have no clue about this but if you're trying it to get gains while in bed try teamviewer on your phone.

 

Or maybe teamviewer for your ipad idk if thats possible.

I have done it. The main reason I didn't want to use TeamViewer was because I essentially wanted the tablet to be a second monitor rather than a terminal to my computer. This lets me watch a video or something on the main monitor while scaping on the tablet. I found an app called TwoMonAir, which lets the tablet connect as a second monitor. The latency is meh at best but it gets the job done, I'm really just doing nmz. The app is currently $8.00.

I haven't checked Google Play, but I got mine for the iPad off of the iTunes store.
