To Idolize Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Well I found this guide on getting all the Adobe CS4 products for free (the real versions). What I am concerned about is this tutorial safe to my computer? It requires no downloading, just editing the "hosts" file within my System32. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgrwKUR8-Aw If you know any details to whether this is safe please tell me.
I C0NN0R I Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 I wouldn't trust people on youtube telling you to fuck with system 32.
To Idolize Posted November 19, 2009 Author Posted November 19, 2009 Yeah i changed it back to my default. The stupid thing worked for a few hours then didn't work and went psycho.
To Idolize Posted November 19, 2009 Author Posted November 19, 2009 Really? Why don't you go ahead and try it and send me a video of how it goes along. :)
I C0NN0R I Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 i told my friends cousin to delete system32 for lulz, assuming he knew not to, he did.
To Idolize Posted November 21, 2009 Author Posted November 21, 2009 It fucks up your whole computer. The system32 folder is what practically runs your computer. :)

Beastdefire Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 It works. It basically reroutes the Adobe Updater shit that asks you to activate to your local machine's IP address. It's how you get CS4 for free... People often use the HOSTS file as an alternate Adblock.
