Meaning & Player History


 


Regardless of who you are or where you came from you're now registered on Final Ownage Elite's forums. Now whether you're a member, an applicant or even a guest you came here for a reason. There is no doubt that Runescape has changed from when we all started playing regardless of when you joined updates have changed the game. The days of RS of when you could sit there and let your RSBuddy bot run for hours on end without worrying about a ban is over. The time to be dedicated and grind is here, if you're here just to settle for a proud member rank and stick with the bare minimum stats after being promoted from an Applicant rank I don't think you're contributing enough to call yourself a member of Final Ownage Elite. I shouldn't have to repeat everything that @@Adhi has already mentioned, but incase you need a reminder why FOE is here again please take a look. Legends Never Die. Yes, FOE closed go ahead complain or say what you want about some of us giving up on a game that we all once loved. Now look we're opened again and we don't settle to just be satisfied to have a large community member base or large pulls on weekend trips. Yes that is great if we can pull 90% of our members on big trips, but that doesn't mean that is the only time you are active on TeamSpeak, IRC, CC or even the forums. @@Walli addresses it quite well along with plenty of other members of this clan, but we want Quality over Quantity. It doesn't matter if you're only gaining 100K strength experience a day while you're doing homework or in between the gym, but you can't just be satisfied with the minimum of requirements you get maxed or you keep working towards it. Being a part of Foe means you're representing something more than just a Clan as we are community and it does have a meaning.


 


Forums, Spamming & Flaming


 


The main thing I personally wanted to suggest towards the leaders was that we aren't based around our forums as much as we should be. There was once a time when FOE forums was filled with actual posts, guides & achievements. It gave people a reason to socialize and meet new friends that could help them in-game. Although a lot of things changed from the migration of the forums lately when we closed to become a community and we lost ranks, now we are re-opened and gained no other ranks. The ranks around FOE have been rather dull and boring now that the clan has gained a reputation and people have started to become lazy. We have a clan forums so why don't we make incentives for members to be active rather than just spam 50 post count and quit forums? It doesn't make sense to pay for a domain & hosting if we don't utilize everything we can as a community. There are plenty of ranks that could be added for new members and old members to the veterans of FOE. Not every new rank needs to gain anymore permission then a regular forum guest has depending on what the rank entitles. The community member rank it is a great idea, but if it has no member other than being a member of the community it is no different than forum guest. The Clan Ally Rank, Retired Rank, OSC Rank, Old-School Rank these are all great ranks that are still current or have been lost. Each one showed and represented a members meaning that they once had towards the clan the dedication is still a great representation of what FOE has been and will be. The addition of new ranks would be wonderful helping the new members of the community show what everyone can strive for and achieve. The ranks should be suggested among the current members & community members if it was something that people wanted to see and share. Spamming, the 50 post count parameter to apply as an applicant is great as members should be associated with their forums, members and allies. Although when we have just random grave dug threads and unneeded spamming it just looks back on the forums & the community. Much like the permissions I think the forum's guest permissions are a little flawed with the whole private messaging and what not (what I heard). Flaming there is a fine line from flaming and just messing around with friends and giving new members a hard time in joking manners, but when members take it to the extent of going out of their way to offend members constantly? It just shouldn't be tolerated in any way regardless of your rank it isn't mature. 


 


Reaching Out


 


From the leadership or elder stand point of the clan if you see something or just feel the clan is lacking in some places please reach out to the community/members and ask for our feedback. I remember after some losses in preps we had @@Walli & @@Adhi would allow members speak out in team speak with things that went wrong and how they can be prevented. These are just regular members, everyone has a different point of view and ideas to share that everyone can learn and adapt to. We can't keep a close minded mind while we re-open we have new members joining and looking into the clan it isn't the same friends that we shared for years scaping together. It is nice to see members be brought up from nothing and contribute to the clan regardless of their previous history or experience we all overlook the small things. 


 


It's Not Over

07 Came when we thought it was the end of a legacy when EoC hit us. A lot of lost hours of grinding & training and questing. So who is to tell you that you have to do it all again? No one, no one is here to tell you that you have to join & be part of Foe because you once were. No, we don't need the members that don't wish to be here or wish to grind once again. We only should be accepting the members who show that they're dedicated and want to be here because that they know we are #1 and that them joining us it'll improve the clan. We are bound to have our ups & downs on 07 just like we did in the past, but that doesn't mean we quit or give up on ourselves. There is no circumstance that we need to be debating if we close again or merge with another clan. No, the demand was here from everyone who signed the petition to bring back so if you signed it get to it, make a new account, grind those levels because once you're maxed like you were on Pre-Eoc it was easy. You didn't have to worry about getting on to train or to quest you got on to help the clan. The game will never be what it use to be so quit expecting Foe to be just like it use to be the player base has changed just like our member base has changed. MM, FI, EOP who does it matter that we war against? The point is that we are all united here because Final Ownage Elite has always had a deeper meaning to each and every member who has joined. If you hopped between clans no big deal as long as you ended up here in Foe and you know that every other clan you were a part of has always been Second, Third or Fourth compared to Foe.

You guys are assholes, haven't seen a legitimate response to this yet. 

 

I couldn't agree more. The personality of the clan as a whole has really developed over time, and I have to say, we simply won't tolerate dickheads for the sake of numbers. Not anymore. It is about FOE as a whole and if you don't understand the team player concept it may not be the right community. 

 

In line with that, being a dickhead on forums really shouldn't be tolerated. Right now we have so much energy as a clan we won't allow a few bad eggs to undermine the direction of the clan. Forums are a great place to enjoy the community, and I hope all of you get on at least a few times a week. Preferably daily when active! We have a great team of mods, and as mentioned, we will put a lock down on the flaming. 

 

Though we are a particular community we are not exclusive. If you have someone who is nice and dedicated bring them in, do not be afraid to introduce them to ranks or anything like that. We aim to please don't be intimidated. Especially not by Adhi, he's a teddy bear. Happy to get the mulligan on our history, let's make the most of it fellas. Cheers for the post.

I have to agree with Luke. This clan has risen from the ashes, and is strong as it ever was.

Be proud of the community, your fellow members, and the clan as a whole.

If you can't handle being responsible and just HAVE to regress to bullying; it won't be tolerated. Either shape up or ship out soldier.

With FOE again rising to the top of the clan food chain, we will become the most feared clan in the IN RUNESCAPE.

Take pride in that.
