Tony Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 A Runescape player was swatted in front of 60,000 viewers on Twitch. On Thursday armed SWAT team members turned up at the home of 27-year-old Joshua Peters, from Minnesota in the US, following a prank call. The door was answered by Peters' 10-year-old brother. Peters left the room to address the commotion, before returning to the stream around 15 minutes later in some distress. In the video, below, Peters responds to those responsible in an emotional plea. "I see you posting my address. I had police point a gun at my little brothers because of you," he says. "They could have been shot, they could have died because you chose to SWAT my stream. "I don't give a s*** about what you have against me, or what I did to you. For that, I am at a loss for words. Your gripe is with me so let it be with me and do not involve my family in any way, shape or form with this. They don't deserve that." Peters later told ABC News he wasn't sure who targeted him, or why. He's now working with the authorities to track down the culprit.

Anyone in his shoes would feel the same way. When your family is brought into something which doesn't involve them, it's not funny. I really couldn't care seeing someone get trolled or given abuse but again it's not funny when family is being brought into it. I hope they catch the little prick. ~Lileh

Some nerd ass stream watchers, who probably have no social life, and only hack and troll people over the internet, because they won't achieve shit in life with their ugly faces, made the swat team come to someone's house. Someone who streams for people to entertain them. If there's people who think that's funny they need to grow the fuck up. Kinda annoying this shit happens irl. They better catch the little ugly nerd who did this.
