OJSIMPSON Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 wondering if anyone plays it competetively here, I went to mcsmashter 4 with over 255 entrants recently, been playing about 3.5 years competetive now. mained Doc and others but been sticking with fox the past half year or so
Robbyy Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 (edited) I always watch the streams but I don't really have a way to get into it even though I would love to. I might just get Wii U & Sm4sh and try to find someone online to play with. If I did play I would probs main falcon =) ^ this. I used to play in high school (sheik main) with friends that were into it and competed and whatnot. You can't really get better at comp smash without someone who knows and is interested in it to play against, and I mean sure I'd go to lans and stuff around me since I think the smash scene is kinda big in Atlanta, but that would be so much time invested in it that I can't right now lol. It'd be either rs or smash p much Is S4 any good Doopy? Edited March 2, 2015 by Robbyy

You can't really tech chase as much and its harder to kill people (no edge guarding, need higher percent to kill, its 2 stocks instead of 4) Ooh, interesting. Have people done any tourneys for it already? Also have you played Project M?
Henrik Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 It's one of my favorite childhood games. I still have my gamecube, but couldn't find all of my games. Considering getting it off amazon or ebay. I only played for fun, nothing too serious, but I have seen the documentary series made about the pro players.. It's crazy.
Callum Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Never played in all honesty. I am a lethal Mario kart player though.
Insecurities Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 I've been recently learning the advanced movments and stuff like wavedashing, teching, etc. Don't think I could ever play competitively though, the shit they do is crazy, only play for fun with people on my floor. : ) I do enjoy watching it though. and yeah OP stick to Fox he's top tier.

Yeah, sm4sh was played at Apex like 2-3 weeks ago. and i haven't played project M but based on this sub-reddit sounds pretty cool. http://www.reddit.com/r/smashbros I need to tune in when one comes around, haven't even seen any gameplay whatsoever. Hell yea PM is sick

I dont really like S4 but its better then brawl I've been recently learning the advanced movments and stuff like wavedashing, teching, etc. Don't think I could ever play competitively though, the shit they do is crazy, only play for fun with people on my floor. : ) I do enjoy watching it though. and yeah OP stick to Fox he's top tier. zomg Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 (edited) I've been getting into competitive meele for a couple of years. I main as Marth and Shiek. I usually play while I afk at nmz. I like that ssbm is making a huge comeback what with twitch really becoming a mainstream video game broadcasting source over the last few years. Favorite pros are M2K and Ken. Ken is an OG. Trying to attend more tourneys, I feel like I'm a pretty decent smash player, wavedashing, teching, and L cancelling on lock. Just got short hop - downspike as Marth, ez deadly near the edge.
