Divine-slays Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Hey guys! So, I haven't played since 2011. Im about to be starting a pure so I can join FOE again, and am in the stages of planning out exactly what I want to do with the account. I had a couple questions. Are training methods like bandits, bursting and Chinning still around? If so, how much would each cost if you had to estimate? If anyone could link me to a OSRS item price list that would be amazing. Im on a tablet and didn't find much on the RS home page. Only item look-ups I've found have been for RS3. This would obviously be a very useful tool when planning out things like this haha. Thanks for reading!

Thanks for reading! Yes, bandits, bursting and chinning are all around. Although there's something called "Nightmare zone" that is much better. Also, OSRS now has GE which includes a price checker in-game. Edited March 4, 2015 by Dazzled
Callum Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Most people train using NMZ, similar to bandits but better xp/hr and a hell of a lot easier. Chinning is still around but once you do MM you can not go back so people then go to NMZ and use blowpipe. You can either use GE as a price guide (pretty unstable atm) or try using zybez.

1 Item Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 chinnings expensive, I would reccomend doing NMZ at 80+ range and strength its highly afkable and you get money back. To get started I'd just train at crabs/experiments
Danny Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 There is a minigame called Nightmare Zone which is essentially bandits but you make money back. Bursting is still around for good mage xp!
Divine-slays Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 I don't currently have a computer. A buddy of mine is helping me order parts to build my own because I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to computers. I'll be on TS a lot once I get one though. I really appreciate the help and info. I was asking for a price checker because I can't currently log in lol. But I'll check out Zybez, good idea. I'll look into this NMZ thing more. And as far as chinning at MM goes, I plan on staying 50 attack so that quest can go unfinished while I train anyways. This has been really useful. Just trying to get an idea exactly of how much GP I'll need. Buying stats may make me a prod but, I'm not about to max yet another account the traditional way. Someone just mentioned a EOC/07 Gp transfer on my intro... is this a real thing?!

To get started I'd just train at crabs/experiments^^^This or just semi-afk at Elder Chaos Druids in wild. Same concept as NMZ. Just take monk robes, unholy book, climbing boots, ring of life, and 3 item (weapon, amulet, bracelet thingy). 150 hp per druid...and an altar to recharge pray. They have fairly low defense and are weak against slash attack. Perfect place to train with dscim till you get better stats for nmz. Ive ran into a few pkers...but its fairly uncommon due to it being multi and a unpopular place. Edited March 6, 2015 by Lonnie
