I have an All-In-One Gateway aspire z5760

I need to know what CPU I could upgrade to using this system.

Anyone know?

  • Intel LGA1155 Socket

If the cpu you looked up has LGA1155 Socket it should fit.

Recommend you to google your exact motherboard model and check if i got the right thing.

E: Looked tad bit further, the newer cpu's have switched over to LGA2011 sockets, so double check if the sockets match for the cpu you want to buy!

Alright first i need the exact model of your motherboard or the device, until then it can be anything :D

But I am pretty sure it's LGA1155

To find out the fastest supported CPU for your motherboard you'll need to:

  • For brand name computers like Dell or HP: determine computer model, and search for it on the manufacturer's website. Although PC manufacturers may not publish CPU support information for their computers, you may still find processor upgrade recommendations in customer support forums.
  • If you have a generic computer, or you failed to find anything on computer manufacturer website for your brand-name computer: determine make and model of the motherboard in your computer, and search for it on the motherboard manufacturer's website. For upgrade information for ABIT, AOpen, ASRock, ASUS, Biostar, DFI, ECS, EVGA, Foxconn, Gigabyte, Intel, Jetway, MSI, PC Chips and ZOTAC motherboards please check CPU-Upgrade motherboard database.
  • If you can't find CPU support data for you computer and motherboard, then use CPU-Z or similar program to determine chipset type in your PC, and look for CPU upgrade information for the chipset. CPU support data for Intel chipsets can be found on CPU-Upgrade.com in Intel chipsets section, or on Intel website. This method is less reliable than the first two.

Once you determined which processors are compatible with your motherboard, you can choose the processor based on desired performance level and how much you want to pay for it.
