i often hear a lot of for and against for deadlifts.

But what are the pros and cons? Why do some people not advise them and some people love them?

If u fuck up on the form it can be dangerous and you will injure urself

If done correctly it's the best exercise for overall body growth

I deadlift with crossfit but its not 100% necessary imo. I can deadlift about 200kg but I rarely need to deadlift heavy, mostly around the 80-100kg for higher reps for me so its not too detrimental so long as form is maintained.

If you can keep good form and maintain your ego and not go too heavy too soon then there is no real issue in doing it and there will be some benefit.

If you cant then simply dont do them because the gains dont outweigh the cons of fucking your shit up if your a noob.

Amazing exercise.

Strength development, prime movement for Olympic lifting, hammie/glute/back development, good for posture if done with right technique.

Should be doing deads/squats if you want that dense physique which is both strong and good looking imo.

It's harsh on your CNS

Good for strength but you will most likely fatigue a lot with heavy dreads especially 5x5
