Poetry slam

[Akahana]

There is an upcoming poetry slam in my city at a local spot.

 

Was nervous for the past few weeks because I've never done public speaking let alone pouring my heart and soul into a mic infront of 100 people.

 

The past week I've written 3 pieces of material. 

 

12 spots are available of slammers.

3 minutes, 10 seconds to read 2 material.

 

Got a few friends coming irl to support me. Maybe record it to. ( who knows maybe I'll upload you and show the true identity of Akahana )

 

Checked out the facebook page for who's all going, and there is this beautiful girl, who has a sexy style. (metal)

 

If she totally comes I won't talk to her, but I hope from my words she will come to me after the show and talk. lol ya im a loser.

 

Anyways I have written 11 poems and the past 3 were beyond my normal capability of writing. 

 

One is sort of my last words. (273 words)

second is about my ex lover who I would die for just to see once more (574 words)

third is her whole name and I wrote a line of each letter, made it into a poem. (243 words)

 

 

been practicing if I could read the second one and the third one in 3 minutes and 10 seconds. or shoot for the first and second.

 

I'll let you guys know how it goes and possibility vids/pics coming Friday, early Saturday.

i've done it on teamspeak. voice without a face is nothing. but being physically up in front of people that's where it's tough.
