Either way, check your CPU usage, and even though it's different record software this could help (https://support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us/articles/203733328-Morae-Cursor-flickering-or-jumping-during-recording-with-Morae-3). I'm not sure what else it could be deleted camtasia and reinstalled it.. let's see if the problem is solved I got this problem since I bought a new laptop
Briggsy Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 uninstall your mouse drivers and re install. you cleaned the infra-red lense on the mouse?is your mouse mat or table actually flat? Mine skips when it runs over dust

Mine skips when it runs over dust I reinstalled camtasia, tried different mouses didn't solve the problem this only happends when I record
