Yentll Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Yo guys, does anyone have any experience with these "Fat Gripz" ? they say it is very good for developing more strength and bigger forearms. 4x Mr Olympia: Phil Heath also recommends them...

ORP Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 no idea, but phil heath prolly reccoments them becouse he has big hands from al there steroids etc :p lmfao what
Thanos Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Kinda meh from what I've gathered unless you're going for the steroids-pumped look
Steroids Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 yeah worthless your forearms get more than enough attention via most back exercises, widegrip pull-ups and bent-over rows smash them, not to mention if you're deadlifting too. hammer curls/reverse curls also. the kids using these are the same 140lb runt faggots wearing gloves and kneewraps / belts for every exercise.
Farmoil Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I never do specific fore arm workouts but work on them through things such as reverse curls (Personal favorite) Only gym equipment I use lifting gloves and wrist wraps
Prepping Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I wouldn't really use this tbh, what Farmoil said; I also usually don't specifically train forearms, it's pointless cause you almost use and therefore train them in every other exercise you do! Phil Heath recommends them because he's an icon and gets paid to do so. :-)

I read something about them making your lifts stronger

KezR Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 I would only recommend these to people with twig forearms. Do not use them on your compound/progression lifts please.. I sometimes use them during hammer curls etc, and they do give you a very good forearm pump, as long as they don't interfere with your other lifts then yeah bash on.
