I happen to know ALOT about botting.

And I can tell you, the safest way you can do it, is www.robotzindisguise.com, secondly, www.rsbots.net/www.autofighter.org (Those last 2 are basically the same)

Though, It ALWAYS gets to you. ALWAYS. All the accounts I have used bots on get banned sooner or later.

My current character is 100% legit though. Don't want to risk a bank :)

Detection methods:

These are all things that they use to detect you. If they detect you by one of these means, you will be put on a priority list, to investegate that is. (This means you are flagged)

The more of these things they detect, you will rise in their priority list. (Crap bots get quick bans, good bots get bans after a long time)

Cordinates of your clicks

Times of your clicks

Playing habits (If you suddenly play 8 hours overnight, when you usually only played 3 hours during daytime)

Randoms (If your bot doesn't solve a random, it will be flagged and kept an eye on. (Rsbots.net/autofighter.org solves 99% of the randoms)

Player reports

Patterns (Always, lets say, click deposit X, and write 55 every time. No human does that. A crap bot would.

Moderator (If a moderator sees you botting, and somehow know you are, it will be a VERY strong vote against you. These can be seen at typical botting spots, MTA, Chins, Soulwars, etc.)

And of course, the type of bot. All the above mentioned bots are reflection bots. They are the least detectable of its kind. This means they do NOT interact with the Runescape client, they just read the screen like a human would do (colors, coordinates, etc)

Other bots, such as, Rsbot.org, are a pretty instant ban, it can't solve most randoms, its nub friendly, its free, it isn't reflection based etc etc.

rsbots.net and autofughter.org is resellers of iBot though. and its kinda expesive and they are locked to one script. but rscheata.net is kinda cheaper as you're not locked to one script and there is alot of them..

Well, this way you avoid paying a monthly membership, and also, the script they select, are the best of the best of ibot. And they then have a scripting team make it even better, and add improvements as members request them :)

But personally, I find having big variasons in what I train, like one day, training strength, next day, hunt some chins, next day make some planks etc. Its more likely ppl are doing that(in jagexs eyes) than like killing drags all the time.

i have begun an experiment, using multiple bots, from multiple sites, most free, but a few paid for. 3 of the accounts will be "suiciding" using the bots 11-15 hours a day, one of these accounts is using a paid for bot, the other 2 are using free bots. the other 3 accounts will be playing 4-6 hours a day, at a more "normal" level, again, one bot is paid for, the others are free. i am quite sure that the suiciders will all bite the dust fairly soon, although i would like to see if the paid for suicider lasts any longer.I will keep this thread updated with bans, and updates on the botted accounts wealth etc.

pllease rmember however, that i do not condone botting, nor have i ever botted on my legitimate acounts. let the experiment commence.

Botting isn't really frowned upon......but it is pretty stupid, pretty likely that you get caught nowadays.  And the punishment is a prm bann, not worth it - definately if it is an account in Foe.
