Most efficient ways to train mage?

I know alching, splashing and superheating work fine but is there any cheap yet efficient methods out there atm with the current prices which arent splashing? or is there any specific item to alch atm with little money loss

Not the cheapest... but if you want something fast, stun alching is the next best thing to bursting. A bit click intensive, but more than worth it.

Not sure on cheap but enchanting diamond bolts is profit

If you're on a main...you can actually go in nightmare zone with absorption pots and instead of splashing have a little bit of a defense bonus and a bit of a mage bonus to hit the monsters but still tank their hits, and you get about 50k an hour because you're getting more exp not splashing. Very afkable and worth it. 

 

 

If you're on a pure you can do the same thing. You'll just get hit more often and have to pay more attention to your hp. 

 

 

Use spells like wind bolt with an air staff as chaos runes are dirt cheap due to Zulruh.

Would not bother wasting time on Magic during the day as long as splashing is possible for the nights. It is very cheap using Smoke battlestaff.
