SOUTH Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Surprised to see no computer/laptop forum on foe tbh. Any how I'm thinking about buying this laptop for some editing and running 3 runescapes at once, maybe twitch streaming, multitasking. Anyone with good knowledge can you help in seeing if this laptop is built for what I need? Dazzled Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 That is more than enough. I can do all that + more rs clients on my shit laptop with lower specs then that :p
SOUTH Posted July 23, 2015 Author Posted July 23, 2015 Ah that is good to know, I've haven't upgraded my pc/laptop since 2009 so I think it's due. There is a guy selling it for £400 on gumtree which is a bit odd and quite cheap. but eh I'm not guna turn it down.
Henrik Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Is enough for all the things you mentioned you would do. Go for it.
Flav0ur Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Not really my area of expertise, good luck making your decision
Ready Ok FOE Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 go with a high processor if you can, i7 doesn't mean shit as most i5 2,9ghz processors can be faster already. if you wanna make your laptop really fast invest in a SSD, install windows on the ssd and other things such as files movies etc save them on the hdd i have an ssd installed later in my laptop and it's ready to use when i start it in less than 10 seconds :)
Mikitka Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Good laptop, but may be worth it to invest in an SSD or just get a new laptop that has an SSD... technology changes super quick, and right now the SSD kinda makes the HDD obsolete when it comes to laptops... just have a larger external drive if you ever need the space.... Basically I am saying you should invest in something with better and quicker advancing technology such as an SSD so in 5 years you won't be asking us the same question
