I can't even imagine going back to 60hz after a year of 144hz. Difference is clearly noticable.

Well, I had my LAN event and the tournament with my team went alright. Ended up 3rd in a group of 5 teams, so we just barely didn't qualify to the RO32.

We started with a win against a LEM/SMFC mix, followed by two close losses (16-12 and 16-11) to two Global teams. We almost threw in our final game, because there were no stakes left for us anymore, but managed to still scratch another OT win. Considering my team is all eagle/supreme I would say we did fairly well. All in all really happy we attended to get some valuable LAN experience.

Back to the normal matchmaking/PUG grind =D

You're lucky you live in a small enough country to be able to attend LANs like these with the people you play with online.

Did you win any money?

Nope only top 3 were in the money out of the 80+ teams. My friend won the whole tournament though =D

Frustrating still having the LE rank even though I 95% of the time queue with and against solely LEM/SMFC ranks. I just need the streak I guess, but skill level is at LEM+ safe to say

what are your warmup routines?

-200 killz on aim_botz (tapping, flicks, sprays, different kinds of shots with awp too)

-FFA/HSDM and/or Pistol only DM for 20-30 minutes

-(1v1 Arena if I feel like it)

I've never warmed up before...I should I guess?

Yeah the higher rank u get the more vital it is that you have a daily practice routine, even if you don't have time to play games get on for 30-60min to do some practice to keep your aim on fleek.

Yeah that actually seems to be a pattern...I always perform like shit in the first 5 to 10 rounds and then the rest of the game is where I catch up. I'll try it out this week and see if I get some results :) Thanks for the advice

Yeah it's good for getting better at the game, can't stress enough how useful DM actually is. Warmup/practice is not only for getting better at the game, but to actually be sharp from the very first round you play that game. That feeling when you queue into your first game and get 3 onetaps with the USP coming out from pistol DM, it's fantastic :D

I don't need to warmup, I use to have too, but I've been playing for so long now I just don't feel the need, some people need to some dont, do what works for you
