Lonnie Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 (edited) Guys..in all seriousness. Spend as much time with your parents as possible or whoever your guardian is. I lost my dad Saturday (7/25/2015)...and I have so many regrets. All the arguments we had and not being able to spend much time with him recently. Losing my dad is by far the worse emotional pain I have experienced so far. So guys...appreciate your parents as much as possible. You never know when the last time is that you will be able to hear their voice or see them alive. Dont have regrets with them. Once a parent is gone...your head will be swimming with thoughts and you will think about all the good and bad moments you had. Death is reality...everyone will die eventually. Go up to your parents...hug them and tell em that you love them. If your going through a argument with them right now...lose some pride by apologizing and make up. You just never know. Its a rough experience losing someone that raised you. Dont make it rougher by having regrets.. Edited July 30, 2015 by Lonnie
Ankhor Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 (edited) Rest in peace man, I lost my dad too when I was younger. Stay strong dude, and yeah... you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone as they say. Keep your head up, and keep smiling. Your dad would want to see you happy and not giving up. :) Edited July 30, 2015 by Anchor God

Colin Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 I've dealt with death my whole life. My best friend when I was 7 years old died of leukemia, my grandmother died when i was 9. Now here I am studying about death and dying at a Mortuary Science school, working at a funeral home, and trying to help people like yourself op. If you need anything or have any questions give me a pm.

`Ben Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 (edited) I lost my dad last December, was tough. All the best mate, hope you and your mum are keeping strong. Best bit of advice I could give is don't think of the past with regret. Everything happens for a reason, and some of the negative things (like arguments ect) would have led to the more positive stuff which you can hold onto. Edited July 30, 2015 by `Ben
